This answer is wrong, the right answer is likely, because it's an adjective, but friendly is an adverb.

I would actually contend that if there is indeed anything wrong here it is not the answer I originally suggested so much as the question itself, all four words provided being able to function as an adverb.
The answer I have given, friendly, is what I imagine the Andalusian examinations board would have considered the correct answer, bearing in mind the vocabulary used at university entrance examination level.
Fast and slowly are both very familiar to students of English as adverbs.
Friendly would mostly be familiar to students as an adjective. Indeed, although the Merriam-Webster Dictionary does have it down as an adverb too, the Collins COBUILD Advanced English Learner's Dictionary does not, listing it solely as an adjective. Attention is often drawn to the word friendly in English language classes as an example of a word that looks like an adverb, on account of its ending, while in fact being an adjective.
Likely is somewhat less well known than the other three, but will have been encountered as an adjective, meaning probable, and possibly also as an adverb, meaning probably.
Snow is likely today. (ADJECTIVE)
Students will likely have been confused by this question. (ADVERB)
My cat is a very friendly animal. (ADJECTIVE)
I wonder if I might call on you to provide us with an example of friendly as an ADVERB?
OK, you're right, i'm sorry, I checked and friendly is not an adverb but still, likely is not an adverb either, right ?

Well, if you read my answer carefully you will see that likely can in fact also be used as an adverb and it is not all that uncommon.
ResponderEliminarFriendly is another matter. Although both the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and Shorter OED state it can be used as an adverb, I myself cannot come up with instances where I would use it, much preferring solutions such as in a friendly manner.
When learning English, it is useful to keep an open mind and remember that a word which one knows might have unfamiliar meanings or uses.
